Content Moderation

To ensure a secure and vibrant platform, we implement a balanced approach to content moderation:

• Removal of Prohibited Content: We encourage free expression but will remove any content, whether public or private, that violates our guidelines.

• Age-Appropriate Restrictions: Recognizing that some content may not be suitable for younger audiences, we restrict certain material to be viewable only by users aged 18 and older.

• Recommendation Eligibility: Content must meet our standards to be eligible for broader visibility within the platform's recommendation features.

• User Empowerment: We provide tools and resources to help you manage your experience, including content filters, account controls, and safety features.

Youth Safety and Well-Being

We are committed to safeguarding younger members of our community:

• Age Restrictions: Users must meet the minimum age requirement to use our platform.

• Parental Controls: Tools are available for parents and guardians to manage their children's experience.

• Protection Measures: Content involving minors is subject to heightened scrutiny to prevent exploitation or harm.

• Youth Content Guidelines: Content featuring minors must include a consenting adult aged 18 or older visibly present throughout the video. Any content depicting minors alone without an adult’s continuous presence is strictly prohibited.

Safety and Civility

To maintain a respectful environment:

• Prohibition of Violence and Criminal Behavior: Content that depicts or promotes violence, criminal activities, or threats is strictly forbidden.

• Zero Tolerance for Hate Speech: We do not allow content that attacks or incites hatred against individuals or groups based on attributes such as race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation.

• Use of Slurs and Derogatory Language

• Epic Studios has zero tolerance for the use of racial, ethnic, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, or otherwise derogatory slurs or language intended to insult, demean, or dehumanize individuals or communities. This includes implied or coded language meant to bypass moderation. Violations may result in immediate content removal. If a user demonstrates a pattern of this behavior, account suspension or permanent removal may occur without further warning.

• Prevention of Harassment and Bullying: Behavior that intimidates, degrades, or bullies others is prohibited.

• Prohibited Content: Drug, Alcohol, Tobacco & Vaping Use

• Live streams or videos that promote, depict, or encourage the use of prescription or illegal drugs, underage drinking, tobacco, or vaping are strictly prohibited. This includes visible use of illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, cigarettes, cigars, chewing tobacco, vapes/e-cigarettes, or excessive alcohol consumption. Any such content will be removed and may result in loss of live access.

• Off-Platform Conduct: Epic Studios may take action against users whose off-platform behavior — including criminal activity or public misconduct — poses a risk to community safety or could damage the platform’s reputation. This includes, but is not limited to, account suspension or permanent removal.

Mental and Behavioral Health

We prioritize the mental well-being of our community:

• Suicide and Self-Harm: Content that promotes or glorifies self-harm or suicide is not allowed.

• Disordered Eating: We remove content that encourages unhealthy eating behaviors or body shaming.

• Dangerous Activities: Challenges or activities that could lead to injury are prohibited.

Sensitive and Mature Themes

To protect our users from potentially distressing content:

• Sexual Content: Explicit sexual content and services are not permitted.

• Nudity and Body Exposure: We restrict content featuring nudity or inappropriate body exposure.

• Graphic Content: Content that is shocking or graphic in nature is prohibited.

Integrity and Authenticity

We value genuine interactions:

• Misinformation: Spreading false or misleading information is not allowed.

• Edited and AI-Generated Content: Such content must be clearly disclosed to maintain transparency.

• Spam and Deceptive Practices: Engaging in spam or deceptive behavior is prohibited.

• No External Watermarks: Content uploaded to Epic Studios must not contain visible watermarks, logos, or branding from third-party apps or platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, CapCut, etc.). Such content may be removed or deprioritized in discovery, search, or recommendations. Repeated violations may lead to content restrictions or account action.

Artificial Engagement Policy

Epic Studios is committed to maintaining fair, authentic, and competitive engagement across our platform.
Any attempt to artificially inflate engagement metrics — including likes, gifts, views, or other in‑app activity — is strictly prohibited.

Prohibited artificial engagement activities include, but are not limited to:

• Using automated tools, bots, clickers, or auto‑tapping devices to increase likes or engagement.

• Coordinating mass tapping or similar activity for the sole purpose of inflating engagement numbers.

• Offering incentives or rewards in exchange for automated engagement.

Consequences for violating this policy:

• First violation: Warning issued.

• Second violation: Final warning issued.

• Third violation: Immediate removal of live stream.

• Continued violations may result in suspension or permanent loss of live streaming privileges.

Regulated Goods and Commercial Activities

We regulate the promotion and trade of certain goods and services:

• Prohibited Items: The sale or promotion of items like firearms, drugs, and other regulated goods is not allowed.

• Commercial Transparency: All commercial content must clearly disclose paid partnerships or sponsorships.

Privacy and Security

Protecting user privacy is paramount:

• Personal Information: Sharing personal information without consent is prohibited.

• Platform Security: Activities that compromise the security of our platform are not allowed.

Enforcement

We enforce these guidelines through:

• Content Removal: Removing content that violates our guidelines.

• Account Actions: Implementing restrictions or bans on accounts that repeatedly violate guidelines.

• Appeals Process: Providing users with the opportunity to appeal enforcement actions.
